Disney’s Riviera Resort – quick overview

✨ The Riviera resort is a new resort with European-inspired design and sits directly next to the Caribbean Beach resort. It has a boutique intimate feel to it with a luxury vibe.
The Caribbean Beach resort is very large and has a larger gift shop than the Riviera Resort so if you don’t see what you want at the Riviera gift shop then take the short walk along the pathway to the Caribbean Beach Resort.

✨ This Resort has access to the Skyliner right on property going direct to Epcot theme park or a cart change to go to Hollywood Studios via the Caribbean Beach resort. Either way it’s fun to ride the Skyliner.

✨ At the Skyliner Depots there are restrooms should you have the need, so you don’t have to walk back to the resort. It’s about a 10 minute ride to Epcot from the Riviera Resort, and a bit longer to Hollywood Studios due to the cart change at the Caribbean Beach.
NOTE you will have to exit the cart and get in line for Hollywood Studios.

✨ Primo Piatto is the quick service dining where you can place a mobile order and pick up for Grab & Go. Or, sit at one of the many tables outside and enjoy the view the lake and man-made beach areas of the Caribbean Beach Resort.

✨ The pool area of the Riviera Resort is beautiful and there is the main pool with a kids area and fun water slide. And a quieter pool in the middle of the courtyard. Either pool is just a quick walk to the Riva poolside bar.

✨ Although this is designed for Disney Vacation Club members other guests may stay here when there is availability. This Resort is in the deluxe villa category with accommodations from studio rooms to 3 bedroom villas.

✨ This Resort also has its own dedicated bus transportation along with the Skyliner.

TIP: if there isn’t a bus anytime soon then you could take the Caribbean Beach resort bus and get on/off at Aruba or Martinique which put you closest and within walking distance to the Riviera Resort. Though it isn’t a problem waiting for the bus.

✨ Quick video of the small courtyard area after exiting the Skyliner and walking the covered pathway to the resort.

We enjoyed the beauty and quaintness of the Riviera Resort. Contact me to book your next Disney visit!

Until next time…
